Good news coming from Cancun in Mexico where the Alpine Skiing Committee, as part of the FIS Congress, officially announced the calendars of the World Cup men's and women for the upcoming winter season.
Among the innovations that emerged from the conference, the four locations all rookies in the Women's World Cup: Killington (USA), Plan de Corones (Ita), Jeongseon (Cor) and Squaw Valley (USA) are the proof that more and more tourist destinations are solicited to host a White circus event.
Few, however, can immediately confirm the event until 2020; among them, Madonna di Campiglio that has the confirmation of good organization of the event.
An important result which rewards the work and the extraordinary effort made by all actors involved in recent years, proving to the International Committee that the slalom on the 3-Tre is one of the most spectacular of the entire circuit in addition to being particularly appreciated by all federations.
Last year, 17,000 were the crowded spectators along the Gully Miramonti, doing show within the show, and decreeing the Madonna di Campiglio slalom, as the most watched in the world on various television channels.
December 22 will be the day the World Cup for 2016, for 2017 and 2018 while in 2019 the World Cup will be coming in the pearl of the Dolomites the January 8, 2020.
