SKIING SEASON STARTS ON 18 NOVEMBER 2017
Press release of 17.11.2017 On Saturday 18 November 2017 begins the winter ski season in Madonna di Campiglio.
The lifts in the Grosté area, the highest part of the ski area, will be in operation, thanks to the 30/40 cm of natural snow that has fallen in recent days, combined with a good amount of programmed snow, will be able to guarantee good condition of skiing from the Cima Grosté 2.500 meters until 1.600 meters of Fortini area, with a difference in level of 900 meters.
Cable car Grosté 1° and 2° line, the Grosté Express chairlift and the Rododendro and Boch chairlifts will be open from 09:00 to 16:00.
Thanks to the low temperatures of the recent days, our snowmakers have been able to produce snow and, as we had expected, we can now confirm the opening of the Spinale Diretta and Fortini ski runs. From the top of the Boch chair lift, it is possible to arrive, skiing on foot, in the Fortini area, at the departure station of the Groste cable car at 1.600 m of altitude.
With Graffer, Lame and Boch trails, we can offer a total of 10 km of open runs, in addition to the upper area of the Ursus Snowpark, set up with some facilities.
For mountaineering skiers, the Pradalago Facile ski run has been groomed completely at their disposal. The ski run is 3.740 meters long, with 500 meters of drop.
The daily ticket price will be promotional: 30 Euro for Adults, 25 Euro for Junior and 15 Euro for Children up to 8 years. Open ticket offices will be Grosté and 5 Lakes, which will continue from 08:30 to 17:00.
The lifts of Madonna di Campiglio will be open on Saturday 18 and Sunday, 19 November, will be open again the following weekend on November 25 and 26 and open every day from Saturday 2 December to Sunday 15 April 2018.
